Played for several years. This is a quality jrpg game despite the gacha aspect, but technical issues are massively holding it back. Regardless of your download speed, you can expect every update to take hours. And that's if you allow the game to remain in focus, because downloading in the background doesn't appear to happen. For a mobile game, that's a big problem because by the time it finishes (if it does), your window to play is gone.

This game is the successor to Chrono Trigger you didn't know you wanted. The story music & gameplay reall are good enough for that comparison. The only thing wrong is the pricing of in game purchases, 1 purchase of enough stones to do a 10 pull to get a gauranteed 4 star character is as much as a full game. Which is unfortunate since for once the gacha is well done - yoi don't have to do it to get through main story, but some optional bosses will be very difficult without some gacha characters.

The game has A LOT of content. I think it would be difficult for anyone to not find something to do in terms of side quests or limited time events. I was looking for something that was character/story driven. The story is fine not a masterpiece and sometimes the dialogue feels clunky but I will say that for a free game it's not bad. Like others have mentioned we need a skip button. Personally, it's because there's so much content is why I am dropping the game bc it takes away from the main.
